Job Description
Vistrada, which provides consulting across business, technology and operations, is hiring a Senior DBT/Snowflake Developer on a contract-to-hire basis. The role is fully remote, requires working Eastern Time hours, and has a start date of November 1, 2026. The term is one year or longer.
The developer creates and maintains dbt models in Snowflake that convert finance, tax and revenue records into datasets ready for analysis. Other work includes ELT pipelines that move source-system data into Snowflake, automated extraction from ERP, tax and finance systems, and Tableau dashboards and trusted data sources used by finance, tax and accounting staff.
Much of the work supports close cycles at month, quarter and year end, with reconciled datasets and point-in-time extracts for internal and external audits. The developer keeps SOX-aligned safeguards in place within the data environment, covering testing, peer review, change control and access rules. Traceability notes, written documentation and automated quality checks are part of the job, plus tuning Snowflake speed and spend.
Applicants should hold a bachelor-level degree in computing, information systems, analytics, accounting or finance, or a closely related area. The posting wants 10-plus years across data engineering and analytics engineering work, or BI, with three of those years spent on production dbt models in Snowflake. It also expects a practical grasp of financial and tax data and control settings, deep SQL skills, dimensional modeling and Tableau. dbt, Snowflake and Tableau certifications are listed as preferred.
The posting does not state a pay rate or salary range.
