Arlo Solutions seeks an Administrative Support Specialist for a remote, full-time position supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration Office of Integrity and Compliance. The work takes place within the VHA Fraud Rapid Response Center, often referred to as the VA War Room, which utilizes data analytics and risk assessments to protect taxpayer funds and Veterans. This role suits professionals who thrive in a fast-paced setting and want to assist investigators, subject matter experts, and program managers with casework, governance, and reporting activities.
The person in this position will keep case documentation organized, help create referral packages, prepare weekly analytic runs, and apply quality assurance checklists. Additional duties involve drafting standard operating procedures, developing training materials, preparing leadership dashboards, and coordinating stakeholder meetings. Responsibilities
- Assist investigators and subject matter experts in creating rapid, efficient communications and presentations
- Organize evidence and case files while helping assemble referral packages for the War Room
- Contribute to weekly analytic runs and decision-ready case packages
- Execute quality assurance checklists and sampling plans on deliverables and workpapers
- Draft intake and triage standard operating procedures, workflow maps, and RACI charts
- Create monthly governance milestone reports, outcome summaries, dashboards, and ad hoc white papers
- Schedule stakeholder meetings, document discussions, and track open action items to resolution
- Design knowledge transfer content, templates, and training materials for independent VA staff operation
Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree
- Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, specifically PowerPoint
- Bring one to three years of professional experience within the federal healthcare sector
- Possess strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Pass a Tier 2 Moderate Background Investigation to obtain a VA PIV card
- Maintain legal authorization to work in the United States
Qualifications
- Prior background working with VA, VHA, Medicare, Medicaid, or CMS programs
- Familiarity with healthcare claims, improper payments, or payment integrity
- Experience utilizing compliance tracking or case management software such as CIRTS
- Knowledge of VA Community Care
- Hold a Certified Fraud Examiner credential or a related certification
