Mercor is seeking a Corporate Finance & Accounting Professional to join its team on a remote, contract basis. In this role, contractors will evaluate AI assistants by testing them on realistic finance and accounting tasks, writing user-like prompts, guiding the AI through tasks, and providing constructive feedback on its performance to help enhance output quality. This opportunity requires a commitment of 10 hours per week and is compensated at an hourly rate of $42. Responsibilities
- Write brief, realistic requests similar to those a real user would type
- Collaborate with the artificial intelligence assistant on assigned tasks by directing it and answering its questions
- Assess the overall experience and final deliverable by noting positive and negative aspects
- Test artificial intelligence assistants on realistic accounting and corporate finance assignments
- Supply feedback to enhance the performance and outputs of the artificial intelligence model
Requirements
- Minimum of three years of professional background in accounting, corporate finance, FP&A, audit, or tax
- Daily experience utilizing spreadsheets
- Familiarity with occasional artificial intelligence assistant usage
- Proficiency in clear English writing
