Job Description
hyperexponential seeks an Agent Builder to join its global team on a remote basis. The company develops an agentic platform designed for commercial insurance underwriting, combining data, machine learning models, artificial intelligence, and human expertise to help insurers evaluate risk and make rapid decisions. Backed by investors such as a16z, Highland Europe, and Battery Ventures, the organization supports annual commercial P&C premium processing across top global carriers and MGAs from offices in London, New York, and Warsaw, as well as remote environments.

Responsibilities include conducting client-site bootcamps, developing operational artificial intelligence agents tailored to real-world underwriting problems, guiding solutions to production, and training client teams. This position suits individuals who possess a blend of technical capability and customer-facing competence, enjoy fast-paced building stages, and feel comfortable interacting with senior insurance professionals like Chief Underwriters.

- Convert successful builds into reusable components for teammates
- Relay field insights back to the internal product engineering group
- Develop and execute custom product demonstrations for prospective clients alongside sales leads
- Facilitate technical discussions and bootcamps with senior underwriters and actuaries
Requirements
- Minimum of three years of experience writing production Python code for large or regulated businesses
- Recent, hands-on experience building solutions with artificial intelligence agents along with verification habits for agent outputs
- Demonstrated ability to engage confidently with expert and skeptical customers, using their feedback to refine builds
- History of owning project outcomes rather than simply following specifications
- Self-driven motivation to push projects forward independently
- Prior customer-facing engineering experience at an artificial intelligence company
- Availability of public examples showcasing prior engineering work

- Background in insurance, actuarial science, or pricing
