This role suits a technical leader who can advise executive stakeholders on operationalizing artificial intelligence securely and at scale.
In this position, the professional collaborates with Account Executives and Solutions Engineers on high-value enterprise opportunities. Responsibilities include leading strategic architecture discussions, conducting technical workshops, and addressing data governance, security, and integration challenges. The successful candidate will articulate product value during build-versus-buy evaluations, create reusable field enablement assets, and provide market feedback to engineering and product teams.
The role requires deep expertise in generative AI, large language models, application programming interfaces, and enterprise software architecture, alongside extensive experience in customer-facing technical leadership. Responsibilities
- Partner with Account Executives and Solutions Engineers on strategic enterprise opportunities involving AI architecture, governance, and integrations
- Lead executive-level discovery, AI strategy discussions, architecture assessments, and technical design workshops
- Architect how Gong integrates within a customer's AI ecosystem through APIs, MCP, Gong Assistant, and Deep Research
- Advise customers on practical AI use cases, responsible adoption, and effective credit usage to boost revenue-team productivity
- Assess customer requirements concerning data governance, data residency, identity and access management, and agent guardrails
- Develop financially rigorous AI value hypotheses and technical validation plans addressing build-versus-buy choices and total cost of ownership
- Act as the senior technical voice in executive presentations, security reviews, RFPs, and proofs of concept
- Create reusable field assets such as discovery frameworks, CIO architecture narratives, and integration patterns
- Enable Solutions Engineers and account teams on AI positioning, enterprise conversations, and complex deal execution
Requirements
- Possess five or more years of experience in enterprise architecture, solution architecture, sales engineering, consulting, AI strategy, or a comparable technical leadership role
- Demonstrate expertise in generative AI, large language models, AI agents, MCP, APIs, integrations, data flows, and enterprise software architecture
- Have practical familiarity with leading AI platforms like OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Gemini, Google Vertex, Salesforce, and Microsoft
- Understand AI governance, responsible AI, data privacy, security, compliance, observability, and auditability considerations
