Job Description
Abnormal is seeking an AI Security Sales Executive to take its specialized AI Security suite to market. In this remote-based, quota-carrying role, the incumbent will focus primarily on expanding sales across a base of over 5,000 existing customers while also running targeted outbound campaigns to secure net-new logos within large enterprises. The employer specializes in behavioral AI security, protecting thousands of organizations and over 30% of the Fortune 500. This position is suited for a sales professional who combines deep technical fluency with a challenger mindset, capable of engaging security teams, platform buyers, and executive leadership on complex topics like AI governance, agent security, and cloud security.
The role involves working alongside regional Account Executives, leading design partner conversations for products in early availability, and feeding field insights directly back to product and research leadership, including the co-founder and CTO. The suite includes five distinct products covering AI governance, cloud security, employee guardrails, agent security, and a security workbench. This is an opportunity to help define a brand-new sales motion at a fast-growing company during a pivotal time in technology security.

- Drive upsell campaigns targeting existing customers and participate in land motions incorporating the AI Security suite
- Execute targeted outbound strategies to win net-new enterprise logos in partnership with core Account Executives
- Partner with regional sales teams to equip them for AI Security discussions and step in for critical deals
- Engage with security and platform teams on technical topics including AI architecture, cloud security, and behavioral models
- Lead design partner discussions for products still in early availability alongside product leadership
- Channel field feedback directly to Product and R&D leadership to help shape the maturing product suite
- Build and maintain internal AI Security expertise across the sales organization
Requirements

- Technical familiarity with AI architecture, cloud security concepts, and behavioral models
- Consultative and challenger sales style combined with hunter instincts for strategic outbound prospecting
- Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments while helping shape the sales playbook
Qualifications
- Direct experience selling AI security, emerging security categories, or cloud security
- Background as an early seller, founding seller, or launch team member for a new product line
- Previous experience in an overlay, specialist, or advisory role within cybersecurity or artificial intelligence
- Track record of successfully selling into CISOs and other security leaders
