Job Description
Intelligent Technical Solutions (ITS) is seeking a full-time, remote Alignment Engineer. The job centers on checking client environments against the company's own technical standards, helping clients that have drifted from those standards get back in line, and keeping the standards library and best practices current.
In practice, the engineer carries out remote reviews of standards and alignment, revises or retires client standards templates as technology and client setups change, and makes sure client records and documentation stay accurate and orderly. A working understanding of network and workstation platforms, Windows and web technologies is expected, and a computer science or IT degree is listed as a qualification. The posting stresses clear communication, organization, prioritization and close attention to detail, along with the ability to work both as part of a team and on one's own.
Work is 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday, between 8:30 AM and 5:30 PM Eastern, performed from a home office that meets the stated equipment and connectivity standards.
