Key duties involve evaluating marketing materials, reviewing escalation complaints, tracking remediation plans, and supporting financial crimes prevention initiatives. Responsibilities

  • Deliver compliance advisory support regarding consumer finance and payment regulations while documenting guidance and decisions
  • Handle the intake, tracking, and execution of advisory requests, reviews, alerts, and cases using established workflows
  • Conduct second-line oversight of high-risk complaint handling channels like the CFPB, BBB, and executive escalations
  • Maintain issue and action logs, validate remediation plans, and monitor aging items to closure
  • Review new initiatives, marketing communications, and customer notifications for compliance and UDAAP risks
  • Support product development assessments, third-party vendor oversight, and regulatory information requests
  • Perform BSA/AML transaction monitoring, alert and case reviews, and sanctions or OFAC screening
  • Handle Customer Identification Program and Customer Due Diligence tasks, including identity defect remediation
  • Prepare Suspicious Activity Report narratives and coordinate with investigators
  • Draft governance-ready memos and metrics reports for leadership

Requirements

  • Solid understanding of consumer financial product regulations, BSA/AML, USA PATRIOT Act, and OFAC sanctions
  • Professional background in compliance operations, risk management, quality assurance, or control activities
  • Strong written communication skills for creating clear documentation and memos
  • Effective project management and organizational capabilities across multiple workstreams
  • Analytical mindset with sound judgment to recommend practical risk mitigation solutions
  • Interpersonal skills enabling engagement and challenge with stakeholders at all levels
  • High integrity and comfort with escalating concerns when necessary
  • Familiarity with financial crimes compliance operations or the ability to learn them rapidly

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in business administration, accounting, finance, legal studies, information systems, or a related discipline
  • Minimum of three years of professional experience in fintech, banking, consumer finance, or another regulated sector
  • Financial industry compliance certifications such as CAMS
  • Prior experience supporting complaint management, change management, product compliance, or third-party oversight
