This full-time, on-site role in Nigeria oversees digital health and data operations across a network of hospitals and healthcare centers. The assistant director manages health information systems and electronic health records, keeps health data accurate and secure, and reports analysis to guide planning.
Responsibilities
- Oversee implementation and upkeep of health information systems and EHRs across facilities.
- Keep health data and digital systems aligned with statutory and organizational requirements.
- Analyze and report health data to support strategic decisions.
- Advise facility managers and IT teams on regulation, data protection and policy.
Requirements
- 10-15 years of experience in digital health, health informatics or data management.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulation, digital health practice and data protection standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, analytical and organizational skills.
- Must be a resident of Imo State or open to relocation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (BSc) in Health Informatics, Computer Science, Public Health or a related field; an MSc is an advantage.
- Certification such as CPHIMS is listed as an example of a relevant credential.
