Hook, a creative production agency, is hiring an Associate Design Director to lead visual design across campaigns, short-form content and websites for national and global brands. The role oversees production workstreams, builds design systems and component libraries, and mentors designers and cross-functional teams. Responsibilities
- Lead visual design work across campaigns and brand design systems
- Build and maintain design systems, component libraries and modular toolkits for high-volume output
- Mentor design staff and cross-functional teams, and manage direct reports
- Oversee production workstreams and keep client work on time and to specification
Requirements
- Proven experience leading design streams and multi-format production for complex, multi-market campaigns
- Expertise in design systems, component architecture and scaling campaigns across channels
- Mastery of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, and of Figma including variables and auto-layout
- Strong communication and presentation skills with clients and creative teams
Qualifications
- Skills in illustration, motion design or After Effects, and 3D tools such as Cinema 4D
- Experience leading teams and projects in a rapid production environment
