Job Description
Noora Health seeks an Associate Director of Development to lead the oversight and quality of the funder-facing pipeline across Africa. Established in 2014, the organization trains family caregivers in hospital hallways and waiting rooms to enhance health outcomes and strengthen health systems. Utilizing the Care Companion Program, Noora Health has trained over 65 million patients and caregivers across more than 16,400 facilities in India, Bangladesh, Indonesia, and Nepal. The organization has been recognized as an Audacious Project Grantee and received the Skoll Foundation Award for Social Innovation.
This professional will sit at the center of the fundraising engine to ensure proposals, pitches, reports, and donor touchpoints accurately reflect the impact of the organization's work. The ideal candidate can translate complex programmatic and financial data into persuasive narratives while leading a geographically and culturally diverse team.
Responsibilities
- Manage the pipeline of funder-facing deliverables such as proposals, pitches, reports, and site visit itineraries to meet all deadlines and requirements
- Review and refine all submissions to guarantee quality, accuracy, and alignment with donor expectations
- Build and maintain systems and timelines providing visibility into upcoming priorities for the fundraising team
- Collaborate with program and finance departments to convert data and outcomes into clear narratives for partners
- Establish and maintain templates, boilerplate language, and best practices for team efficiency
- Represent Noora Health externally at meetings, events, and with funders in Africa
- Support donor engagement activities, logistics for site visits, and prospecting research for new funders
- Lead, mentor, and provide professional development support to a small team
- Contribute to global development strategy, messaging, and priorities
Requirements
- 12 plus years of experience in development, fundraising, or communications
- Demonstrated experience managing complex deliverables and deadlines
- Experience managing or mentoring a team across different geographies or cultural contexts
- Experience working with international donors, foundations, or institutional funders
- Proficiency in Google Workspace and experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
- Ability to travel internationally as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree preferred
