In this role, you will collaborate with seasoned quality assurance consultants, software developers, technical architects, and business stakeholders to evaluate complex consumer and agent interactions across voice and digital platforms.
The successful candidate will test Amazon Connect routing and agent workflows, validate self-service telephony journeys, perform application programming interface checks using tools like Postman, and evaluate integrations with Salesforce Service Cloud Voice. Additional responsibilities include managing test data, logging defects, participating in defect triage, and supporting various testing phases such as regression, user acceptance, system integration, and release readiness.

Responsibilities
- Test Amazon Connect contact flows, queue configurations, routing rules, and agent workflows
- Run functional checks for interactive voice response and self-service journeys covering dual-tone multi-frequency, speech recognition, authentication, transfers, callbacks, and error scenarios
- Examine agent and supervisor experiences across voice and digital channels
- Evaluate Amazon Connect integrations with AWS services including Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, Lex, and CloudWatch
- Execute API tests with Postman to verify requests, responses, data mapping, error handling, and system integrations
- Troubleshoot issues across Amazon Connect, AWS, Salesforce, and third-party platforms
- Test Salesforce Service Cloud Voice integrations, agent tools, computer telephony integration, screen pops, voice call records, and omnichannel features
- Design and run test cases based on project requirements, user stories, process flows, and design diagrams from tools like Lucidchart or Visio
- Create test data, log and track defects in Jira, and take part in defect triage with project teams
- Support system integration, regression, user acceptance testing, and release readiness tasks
- Assist with voice automation testing using tools such as Cyara, Empirix Hammer, Bespoken, or Operata
- Contribute to basic performance and load testing with applications like JMeter, LoadRunner, or NeoLoad
Requirements
- One to two years of quality assurance testing experience or at least six months of paid quality assurance internship experience
- Solid understanding of software testing fundamentals including functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing methods
- Knowledge of test case creation, execution, defect tracking, and quality assurance processes
- Basic knowledge of application programming interfaces and practical use of Postman or comparable tools
- Basic comprehension of cloud concepts with a preference for AWS
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities to translate business requirements into test scenarios
- Strong communication and documentation abilities
- Willingness to learn Amazon Connect, contact center technologies, Salesforce, AWS, and artificial intelligence tools
Qualifications
- Prior exposure to Amazon Connect or alternative contact center and computer telephony integration platforms
- Familiarity with interactive voice response and telephony principles like automatic call distribution, public switched telephone network, direct inward dialing, toll-free lines, and call recording
- Experience working with Salesforce or Service Cloud
- Familiarity with tracking and test management utilities such as Jira, TestRail, QMetry, or Zephyr
- Exposure to SQL and basic data validation
- Familiarity with testing automation or scripting using Java, JavaScript, Python, or similar languages
- Previous use of testing platforms like Cyara, Empirix Hammer, or Bespoken
- Basic understanding of generative artificial intelligence, conversational bots, or chatbot evaluation
