NVE Experience Agency is seeking an Associate Resource Director, Creative for a full-time, exempt position with a salary range of USD 100,000 to 125,000 per year. NVE is a production and brand experience agency focused on turning consumer attention into loyalty through insight-driven ideas rooted in culture.
In this senior, hands-on role within the centralized resourcing team, the person hired will manage strategy and execution exclusively for the Creative department. Responsibilities include connecting high-level workforce planning with daily staffing choices, bridging project pipelines with actionable staffing schedules, and guiding teams that feature copywriters, visual designers, spatial designers, 3D visualizers, art directors, and creative directors. The position reports to the VP, Resource Director, maintains a dotted line to Creative Leadership, and collaborates closely with Accounts, Strategy, Production, and Finance.
Ideal candidates thrive in ambiguity, possess a balance of empathy and operational rigor, and understand the creative process within experiential marketing. This is a hybrid position with hub locations in Los Angeles and New York City, though remote candidates are also considered.
Responsibilities
- Manage the resourcing strategy for the Creative department and act as the primary resourcing partner to Creative leadership
- Resolve creative staffing challenges, competing project demands, and high-impact casting choices
- Review incoming project briefs and workloads to assign jobs to creative resources alongside department management
- Collaborate with Finance, the VP, Resource Director, and Creative Leadership to build capacity forecasts
- Identify bandwidth gaps or overages and propose solutions such as rebalancing, hiring, or freelance support
- Oversee the freelance strategy, including maintaining a talent bench, onboarding, rate alignment, and timesheet management
- Promote fair, inclusive casting practices and ensure workloads remain sustainable to protect employee wellbeing
Requirements
- 5 to 8 or more years of professional experience in creative operations, resource management, traffic management, or creative resourcing inside a creative or experiential marketing agency
- Familiarity with the end-to-end creative workflow spanning environmental design, pitch development, branding, visual design, and copywriting
- Ability to manage complex staffing scenarios and collaborate with senior executives and creative leaders
- Working knowledge of project management and resource management software
- Financial understanding of project margins, utilization rates, and freelance budget control
- Interpersonal, conflict-resolution, and communication skills combining empathy with operational precision
