Teladoc Health is actively seeking an Associate, Technical Product Implementation Specialist to serve as a primary technical advisor for virtual care technologies and patient care devices. In this full-time role, the professional will manage customer onboarding, device deployment, software installation, and network optimization across healthcare environments.
The position requires close coordination with clinical stakeholders, hospital administrators, and customer IT departments to direct complex implementation projects from planning through project closure. Responsibilities include assessing technical infrastructure readiness, validating hardware and software solutions, troubleshooting connectivity and routing problems, mitigating deployment risks, and delivering customer training. Ideal candidates possess strong project management capabilities, advanced knowledge of operating systems and TCP/IP networking, and a background in healthcare technology or related technical fields.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple complex customer implementation projects simultaneously from pre-deployment planning to project closure
- Configure, deploy, validate, and optimize hardware and software solutions in customer healthcare environments
- Collaborate with customer IT teams to evaluate firewalls, routing, wireless networks, VPNs, and infrastructure readiness
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues
- Conduct validation testing, acceptance activities, and customer training to support successful system adoption
- Identify implementation risks proactively and develop mitigation plans to maintain project schedules
- Contribute to implementation standards, playbooks, and process improvement initiatives
- Maintain complete technical documentation, testing results, and deployment records
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Healthcare Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of four years of experience in technical implementation, healthcare technology, network administration, field services, or systems deployment
- Proven background in leading customer-facing implementation projects and supporting enterprise software and hardware deployments
- Advanced understanding of Windows operating systems, endpoint support, and remote management tools
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking, wireless technologies, routing, switching, VPNs, and firewall configurations
- Understanding of healthcare technology environments, clinical workflows, and HIPAA data security requirements
Qualifications
- Experience supporting virtual care, telehealth, medical device, or healthcare technology platforms
- Background working in healthcare systems, hospitals, or integrated delivery networks
- CCNA certification
- CompTIA A+ certification
- CompTIA Network+ certification
- ITIL Foundation certification
- Experience supporting enterprise implementations across multiple customer locations
