Job Description
Protective Life Corporation seeks a Bilingual Automotive Claims Adjuster to join its Asset Protection Division remotely. Protective Life Corporation is a financial services holding company whose Asset Protection Division has delivered finance and insurance solutions to the automotive, marine, powersports, and recreation vehicle industries for over six decades. In this remote position, the adjuster will review assigned claims, intake new losses, evaluate policy coverage, and maintain documentation while providing support to customers.
This role is well-suited for individuals with a background in automotive service who possess strong multitasking abilities and fluency in both English and Spanish. Candidates must be available to work forty hours per week between eight in the morning and eight in the evening, Monday through Friday, along with a rotating Saturday shift every four to six weeks.
Responsibilities
- Adjudicate assigned claims and evaluate policy coverage
- Receive and record the intake of new losses
- Investigate and document claims accurately
- Manage incoming phone calls and authorize claims
- Handle phone inquiries regarding claim processing and coverage
- Complete paperwork in accordance with standard procedures
Requirements
- Minimum of two years of experience working in an automotive service setting as an automotive technician or service advisor
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish
- Proficiency with computers and applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to work a full-time schedule of forty hours per week from 8am to 8pm Monday through Friday plus rotating Saturdays
