GoodLeap is seeking a Bilingual Collections Specialist to join its team on a remote basis. GoodLeap is a technology company that provides software and financing products for sustainable home solutions, including solar panels, battery storage, HVAC units, roofing, and windows. Since 2018, the organization has facilitated over $27 billion in financing to help homeowners adopt sustainable technology, while also supporting the nonprofit GivePower.
In this full-time role, the professional will operate as an individual contributor inside the personal finance department. The primary focus of the position is to handle incoming and outgoing communications with clients to address past-due balances, negotiate solutions, and help bring loans current while adhering strictly to company procedures. Ideal candidates are driven, goal-oriented professionals who possess strong interpersonal skills and professional decorum.
Responsibilities include managing accounts with overdue balances, tracking delinquency durations, keeping detailed records of owed funds, and achieving established daily, weekly, and monthly metric targets. Applicants must be comfortable making and receiving telephone calls to resolve outstanding financial obligations. Responsibilities
- Boost the recovery of past-due payments within the personal finance unit as an individual contributor
- Detect accounts carrying overdue balances and develop resolutions to return loans to a current status
- Achieve established daily, weekly, and monthly performance and collection targets
- Conduct inbound and outbound telephone calls with clients to resolve unpaid debts
- Adhere strictly to internal collection guidelines and operational workflows
Requirements
- Possess one to two years of direct background in credit and collections
- Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills
- Maintain fluency in both English and Spanish
- Display a self-motivated, goal-oriented, and professional working style

Qualifications
- Demonstrate familiarity with sales, negotiation, and persuasion instruments
- Bring previous telemarketing background involving financial goods and offerings
