- Maintain ASIC compliance records and coordinate document collection for the external accountant
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on bookkeeping experience within Australia using Xero
- Demonstrated experience preparing Business Activity Statements and managing GST
- Working knowledge of Australian fortnightly payroll administration including superannuation, PAYG, and Single Touch Payroll
- Payroll experience applying an Australian modern award with shift work, penalty rates, and allowances, with SCHADS Award knowledge strongly preferred
- Capability to calculate and accrue pro-rata long service leave
- Strong digital filing skills and high standards of confidentiality when handling payroll data
- Available for consistent part-time hours starting at 5 hours per week with reliable support for the fortnightly payroll cycle
Qualifications
- Familiarity with NDIS support item codes and billing procedures
- Direct experience applying the SCHADS Award within a disability or community services provider
- Experience lodging and maintaining Portable Long Service Leave registrations under the South Australian scheme
