Kinaxis is seeking a Business Consultant to join its team on a remote basis from anywhere in the United Kingdom. Operating globally with over 2000 employees, Kinaxis provides an AI-infused supply chain orchestration platform trusted by Fortune 500 brands like Unilever, P&G, and Cisco. In this pre-sales role, the Business Consultant partners with the sales organization to provide market domain expertise, product knowledge, and technical demonstrations that support target sales objectives.
The ideal candidate will assist in uncovering customer needs, qualifying prospects, and guiding potential clients through the evaluation process. Responsibilities include building custom demonstrations using client data, configuring Maestro resources such as workbooks and task flows, and producing sales transition documentation for Professional Services. The professional in this role will also relay field feedback to product management and adhere to established sales procedures.

Responsibilities
- Identify customer needs and key stakeholders in purchase decisions
- Qualify prospects according to company capabilities and applicability
- Construct and deliver custom product demonstrations utilizing customer data
- Configure unique Maestro resources including workbooks, task flows, and scorecards
- Create supplementary presentation materials for client-specific demonstrations
- Follow the sales process consistently and ensure delivery of key deliverables
- Provide feedback to product management regarding product gaps and improvement areas
- Produce sales transition documentation and participate in handover meetings for Professional Services
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of supply chain management, implementation, or enterprise pre-sales experience
- Domain expertise in one of five key industries: Automotive, High-Tech, Pharma/Lifesciences, Aerospace and Defense, or CPG
- Knowledge of supply chain fundamentals, industry best practices, and SCM or ERP solutions
- Strong communication, presentation, facilitation, and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform well in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting
