This organization operates across plantations, processing plants, and supply networks in Southeast Asia, handling tropical oils such as palm and coconut. The company manages the entire value chain from agronomy to processing and distribution, delivering sustainable ingredients to international customers.
The Business Implementation Director will steer digital initiatives and lead enterprise resource planning project execution within the tropical oils division. This professional acts as a crucial link between corporate infrastructure and business operations, managing the critical path across planning, scoping, and execution phases. Responsibilities involve guiding change management, aligning leadership, establishing process governance, and ensuring data readiness for new system rollouts.
This position suits experienced SAP program leaders with a background in agribusiness or commodity management who excel at cross-functional coordination. The role requires collaborating with departments such as Digital Technology and Data, Process Excellence, Finance, and Manufacturing and Supply Chain to institutionalize operational knowledge. Candidates must be capable of guiding multidisciplinary teams through complex technological transformations while managing stakeholder relationships in a matrix environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of digital initiatives from pre-deployment through post-go-live support and stabilization.
- Direct scope decisions concerning digital functionality and footprints.
- Create and execute stakeholder engagement strategies across the program.
- Guide the organization through operational and talent changes required to sustain transformations.
- Run project reviews to assess progress, secure stakeholder agreement on adjustments, and deploy resources efficiently.
- Provide necessary documentation and training for a smooth transition to everyday operations.
- Lead and mentor a team of supervisors and experienced professionals by handling hiring, performance management, and talent decisions.
Requirements
- Hold a bachelor degree in a related discipline or possess equivalent work experience.
- Bring at least 10 years of SAP experience, featuring a minimum of 1 full-cycle implementation as a Program Manager or Implementation Lead.
- Possess hands-on background with migrations, customizations, and implementations in SAP, with S/4HANA strongly preferred.
- Demonstrate a strong grasp of core SAP modules such as FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, HCM, EWM, and S/4HANA.
- Exhibit integration expertise to design and oversee connections with external systems through APIs and middleware.
- Display the ability to challenge over-customization while permitting necessary exceptions for business models.
Qualifications
- Prior implementation background within the agribusiness sector.
- Familiarity with commodity management, agriculture contract management, bulk logistics, and regulatory compliance frameworks.
- Deep understanding of agriculture-specific modules like CM, ACM, TRM, and CTS.
- At least three years of leadership or supervisory experience.
- Fluency in both English and Indonesian Bahasa.
- Possession of SAP module certifications, S/4HANA credentials, or project management designations like PMP, Prince2, or Agile.
