Data Coach is seeking a Business Systems Architect to operate remotely on a full-time basis. This position involves designing, implementing, and evolving enterprise platform architecture solutions to support secure, scalable, and efficient business operations across Finance, People/HR, Revenue Operations, and IT functions. The ideal candidate can navigate ambiguous cross-functional challenges with a high degree of independence while aligning technical solutions with business goals and security standards.
Data Coach functions as a remote-first data and AI consultancy with personnel spread across the United States, Latin America, and India. The enterprise partners with major organizations like Snowflake, AWS, Anthropic, Glean, and dbt to resolve complex data and artificial intelligence obstacles for large businesses.
Responsibilities
- Translate ambiguous stakeholder requests into prioritized projects featuring measurable success criteria
- Manage requirements intake, discovery, process mapping, impact analysis, and scoping for cross-functional initiatives
- Finalize solution designs and coordinate technical implementations from end to end
- Oversee testing plans, user acceptance testing, issue resolution, deployment, and historical data reconciliation
- Maintain ongoing data quality through monitoring, cleansing, validation, migration, and backloading
- Design and support enterprise architecture solutions for IT-managed systems and platforms
- Define integration methods across various SaaS and cloud environments
- Support automation and artificial intelligence initiatives through architectural guidance and implementation assistance
- Evaluate new technologies and recommend options fitting business needs
- Govern enterprise platforms through role-based access controls, license management, and cost optimization
Requirements
- Have at least 8 years of experience working in systems, application, or enterprise architecture, or related roles
- Possess experience designing and delivering enterprise technology solutions
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of infrastructure, system design, and security principles
- Show a proven capability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and appraise technical solutions
- Bring familiarity with architecture frameworks or security and compliance standards
- Have experience with cloud and hybrid environments, enterprise systems, and integration design such as API and SaaS
- Possess practical background working with enterprise software including Salesforce, Certinia, Rippling, and Greenhouse
Qualifications
- Gain exposure to vendor selection activities and mentoring team members
- Have past experience with modernization, automation, or artificial intelligence initiatives
