  • Show a basic appreciation of the development, humanitarian, and peace nexus programming
  • Maintain a good understanding of agribusiness in Zimbabwe, climate change adaptation practices, shifting social norms, and innovations for resilience building
  • Demonstrate the ability to conduct high quality research, meet deadlines, and respond timeously to requests and feedback
  • Display strong analytical and conceptual skills to synthesize and present findings, draw practical conclusions, make actionable recommendations, and prepare comprehensive reports
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of Southern Africa with regional or country experience
  • Demonstrate language proficiency including fluency in English and a good command of the local languages Shona and Ndebele
  • Maintain a strong reputation for independence and comply with minimum ethical standards and safeguarding guidelines
