Responsibilities
- Accept customer payments, provide accurate change, and issue receipts

- Perform thorough handovers of cash, inventory, and equipment during shift or location changes
- Interact politely with patrons and answer standard inquiries
- Help conduct inventory counts, restock shelves, and monitor product expiration dates
- Immediately notify management regarding cash discrepancies, inventory deficits, spoiled merchandise, or unusual activities
- Maintain an orderly and tidy point-of-sale and customer service zone
- Adhere strictly to cash management, safety guidelines, and responsible alcohol-sales practices
Requirements
- Prior cashier background in a grocery store, bar, or comparable retail setting
- Competency in using point-of-sale technology and handling digital payments
- Background in conducting inventory counts and reconciliations
- Solid math skills and high attention to detail

- Demonstrated honesty, reliability, and the capacity to work independently
