Job Description
TheHiveCareers is recruiting a Chief Blockchain Officer to set direction for blockchain, distributed ledger, digital asset and Web3 work. This is an executive post covering blockchain products, operating processes and new income streams.
The officer sets the direction and briefs the chief executive, directors and senior leaders on emerging trends, risks and openings in blockchain. The officer also heads enterprise blockchain projects in areas like supply chains, identity checks, payments, trade finance and record keeping, runs proof-of-concept efforts, and coordinates with legal, compliance, risk and security colleagues on rules and oversight.
The posting calls for 15 or more years in areas such as fintech, technology, financial services, digital innovation or blockchain, with at least five years at senior leadership level. Proven experience steering blockchain, digital asset, Web3 or DLT programs is needed. A bachelor's degree is required, and a master's or MBA is preferred.
