This is a hands-on executive position focused on transforming the engineering organization from infrastructure optimization into a high-velocity, product-driven team. The incoming leader will own the entire R&D budget, technical vision, engineering strategy, and security compliance programs while collaborating closely with the chief executive officer, board members, and product personnel. Reporting directly to this role is an engineering team of approximately seven professionals, with additional support from central DevOps and shared platform resources.

Responsibilities
- Own the technology vision, roadmap, and engineering strategy for Prerender

- Oversee security and compliance programs including SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001

- Manage the complete R&D budget encompassing personnel, infrastructure, tooling, and vendor relationships
