Job Description
IQ-EQ is a global investor services group that administers private markets funds, offering accounting, compliance and reporting to investment managers and asset owners. This fully remote Client Accountant role in the United Kingdom acts as the day-to-day front office contact for private equity, real estate, credit and debt fund clients.
The accountant manages deliverables and timelines, reviews financial statements under UK GAAP or IFRS, validates investor drawdowns and distributions, and supports junior team members.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day relationships with designated private equity fund clients
- Review quarterly and annual financial statements for reporting compliance
- Validate investor drawdown and distribution calculations and cash communications
- Mentor junior team members and improve workflows
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a professional office, ideally in financial services or an accounting practice
- Strong accounting expertise, including reviewing working papers and financial statements with disclosures
- Proven experience managing client relationships and resolving issues professionally
Qualifications
- ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualified, or qualified by experience, with a higher education qualification
- Intermediate Excel skills
