Job Description

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical case reviews on sepsis alerts by analyzing encounter records, establishing clinical timelines, and producing internal reviews with cited evidence
• Build and apply a working knowledge of product mechanics, including how alerts are generated, suppressed, and delivered using electronic health record data
• Review AI-assisted triage and classification tooling, correcting outputs when clinical facts do not support them
• Write clear responses to clinicians and clinical informatics teams regarding submitted cases while protecting patient privacy
• Escalate issues to engineering, data science, implementation, or clinical teams, and drive tickets through to closure
• Manage a concurrent caseload based on risk, prioritize the queue, and keep tracking systems current
• Identify recurring patterns across cases, such as mapping failures or interface latency, and raise them to owning teams
• Create and improve review templates, evidence standards, triage rules, and escalation paths
• Support product complaint handling by documenting complaints and assembling required clinical evidence

Requirements

• Possess current, unrestricted authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
• Bring five years of professional experience total
• Demonstrate strong writing skills tailored for clinician and clinical informatics audiences
• Show the ability to learn a technical product quickly, reason about it accurately, and utilize AI tools daily
• Maintain comfort working in a ticket-driven, data-heavy environment across multiple concurrent cases

Qualifications

• Hold an active registered nurse license alongside three or more years of acute care experience such as ICU, emergency, or rapid response
• Alternatively, possess commensurate healthcare experience with the ability to understand sepsis and clinical deterioration
• Bring experience with electronic health records like Epic or Cerner, clinical informatics, clinical research, or clinical decision support
• Have exposure to SEP-1 or sepsis bundle abstraction and quality reporting
• Demonstrate familiarity with medical device quality standards such as QMSR or ISO 13485, or eagerness to learn them
