Job Description
Bright Vision Technologies is a consultancy and software builder active in cloud, artificial intelligence, data and corporate systems across the USA. This full-time, fully remote position centers on multi-cloud architecture for companies that intentionally operate on several cloud platforms at once.
The architect would shape strategies, reference designs and shared platform features that cover AWS, Azure, GCP and, on a selective basis, OCI. Core topics include making workloads movable between providers, creating abstraction layers, unifying identity, handling networking between clouds, and offering platform services that shield product teams from provider-specific details.
The ideal candidate has designed meaningful multi-cloud capabilities, weighs the balance between portable design and deep provider-native features, and backs opinions with production experience. Hands-on skill with IaC tooling and policy automation across providers is expected.
The position is a direct W2 hire with pay in a range of 130,000 to 170,000 USD yearly. The employer invites people with permanent residency, EAD cards or H-1B transfer status to apply, but it does not sponsor new H-1B petitions for this opening.
Responsibilities
- Define multi-cloud strategy and reference architectures across AWS, Azure, GCP and OCI
- Design shared platform capabilities that product teams can use without deep cloud-specific knowledge
- Shape cross-platform single sign-on and identity federation
- Plan cross-cloud networking and security controls
- Set standards for automating infrastructure and policy definitions across providers
Requirements
- Undergraduate or graduate degree in CS or an adjacent discipline
- Eight-plus years working as a cloud architect or in similar roles
- Practical design work across two large public clouds
- Strong grasp of networking, identity and security on several public platforms
- Proven command of infrastructure automation and policy enforcement on different clouds
- Background in building identity federation and single sign-on for multiple clouds
- Working familiarity with Kubernetes, containers and cloud-managed services
- Clear communicator who can manage stakeholders effectively
- Several certifications spanning different cloud vendors
- History of directing programs that design multi-cloud architecture
Qualifications
- Exposure to tools like Crossplane, Pulumi or Terraform CDK for abstraction
- Knowledge of monitoring systems that work across any cloud
- Past leadership of big moves between cloud providers
- Work in heavily regulated sectors that require several clouds
- Published articles or conference presentations about multi-cloud design
