Coins.ph is hiring a cloud security engineer in the Philippines to design and run security for its AWS environment. The role covers account and IAM design, WAF and DDoS protection, network isolation and zero-trust access, security monitoring with CloudTrail, GuardDuty and Security Hub, and security automation in infrastructure-as-code pipelines. It is a full-time, hybrid position requiring 5+ years of cloud, network security or cloud platform operations experience.
Responsibilities
- Plan and improve AWS security architecture across accounts, IAM, VPC, compute, storage and containers
- Design and operate WAF and DDoS protection, including AWS WAF, Shield and CloudFront
- Design network isolation, segmentation and zero-trust access across environments
- Run cloud security monitoring and incident response, and automate checks in Terraform and CloudFormation
Requirements
- 5+ years in cloud security, network security or cloud platform operations
- Familiarity with AWS security services such as IAM, KMS, GuardDuty, Security Hub and Config
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, TLS, VPN, routing, firewalls and common attack defenses
- Experience with Kubernetes and container security, plus Python, Go or Shell scripting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above in computer science, cybersecurity, software engineering or a related field is preferred
- AWS Security Specialty, AWS Solutions Architect, CISSP, CCSP or CISA certifications are preferred
