Immersive Labs is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to join its product development team remotely within the UK. In this role, you will help shape and build the cloud security content roadmap for a globally recognized cyber resilience platform. You will work closely with the Principal Cloud Security Engineer to research, design, and create interactive cloud security labs and gamified learning experiences.
This position is well-suited for a hands-on technical professional who enjoys tinkering with cloud infrastructure, solving complex security challenges, and translating difficult concepts into engaging educational materials. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP, and Kubernetes with a passion for teaching and disrupting traditional cybersecurity training methods.

Responsibilities
- Plan, write, and improve cloud security labs, challenges, and online learning materials on the company platform
- Produce multi-format content using practical exercises, questions, and gamification teaching methods
- Test cloud security labs to verify proper functionality
- Collaborate with Engineering and Content teams to deploy new products and projects
- Compile technical research into clear and concise content for technical and non-technical audiences
Requirements
- Demonstrated track record working in production-critical infrastructures and cloud environments with a security focus
- Solid knowledge of at least one cloud platform or technology such as Azure, AWS, GCP, or Kubernetes, including security, identity, and access expertise
- Experience with cloud SIEM solutions like Microsoft Sentinel or Google SecOps
- Experience utilizing CSPM or CNAAP tooling
- Strong containerisation experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with serverless technologies
- Knowledge of network, firewall, and security best practices
- Experience with infrastructure automation and deployment using Terraform
- Understanding of cloud monitoring and security tooling
- Hands-on background in cloud infrastructure, IT services, networking, and security
- Experience working in a DevSecOps, Cloud security, or SRE function focusing on availability, reliability, and automation
