Kaseya is seeking a remote Collections Specialist for a 12-month contract position. Operating globally, Kaseya delivers AI-powered IT management and cybersecurity software to internal IT departments and Managed Service Providers, backed by Insight Partners and founded in 2000.

In this role, the contractor will manage and recover outstanding debt while coordinating closely with the Billing, Sales, Finance, and Customer Success departments. The selected professional will handle customer inquiries, document account interactions, prepare correspondence, and generate debt status reports.

Responsibilities

  • Reach out to clients with overdue balances via telephone, email, and written notices to discuss payment methods and secure funds.
  • Partner with internal groups like Sales, Finance, Billing, and Customer Success to coordinate account strategies and address disputes.
  • Log all customer interactions, payment plans, and relevant account details accurately.
  • Establish structured payment schedules aligned with corporate financial objectives and policies.
  • Investigate and settle client questions regarding billing errors, account discrepancies, and payment problems.
  • Dispatch formal collection notices and financial statements to clients.
  • Adhere to applicable debt collection laws and regulations.
  • Compile and evaluate metrics regarding unpaid debts and recovery performance.
  • Deliver professional customer service while maintaining firmness and persistence during recovery efforts.

Requirements

  • At least two years of practical experience executing collections.
  • Familiarity with collection software such as GetPaid or comparable tools.
  • Working knowledge of core collection workflows, including outreach calls, email follow-ups, escalation procedures, dispute tracking, and recordkeeping.
