Job Description
Playson designs casino games and platform software for operators around the world, with products played in regulated markets. It is hiring a software developer to sit within its compliance function on a full-time, remote basis. The developer will build and keep improving a secure compliance pipeline that allows the company to release games and platform updates quickly while staying safe.
The role supplies the technical evidence that certification labs, ISO assessors and a prospective SOC 2 auditor will ask for. Responsibilities include carrying game mathematics packages from internal review to the certification lab, assembling artifacts such as build fingerprints, PAR documentation, configuration captures and version inventories, and handling the lab's technical questions directly. The developer also supports ISO certification for company systems and prepares evidence for a future SOC 2 review. Between lab cycles, the developer replaces manual evidence gathering with automation, strengthens the audit trail, and verifies each certificate deficiency is resolved before a title clears the pre-release checkpoint.
The ideal candidate is a developer first, with three or more years writing production software and solid Node.js and TypeScript expertise. The developer will read game math code, confirm it matches what was disclosed to the lab, and create repeatable tooling for that verification. Prior work for an iGaming provider, a lottery, or another certified-product firm is expected, along with SQL capability for analytics stores and calm, precise communication with auditors. Regulatory interpretation questions are referred to the Head of Compliance.
