Job Description
This full-time on-site role at SGS in the Philippines covers technical inquiries, certificate of conformity processing and risk profiling for cosmetic products and exporters. The specialist coaches staff, prepares PCA position papers and monitors Certification Center KPIs. The role gives final technical decisions and handles escalations with regulators, affiliates and clients.
Responsibilities
- Resolve technical inquiries and cases, including preparing PCA position papers.
- Profile product and exporter risk and propose registration and licensing actions.
- Monitor Certification Center KPIs for product groups, including work in progress and certificate processing.
- Coach and train staff on technical matters within their product specialization.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in chemistry, pharmacy, chemical engineering or cosmetic science.
- At least two years of cosmetics regulatory or compliance experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in cosmetic regulations, ingredient safety assessment and labeling compliance.
Qualifications
- Ability to make final technical decisions and mentor analysts.
- Comfort handling escalations with regulators, affiliates and clients.
- Knowledge of conformity assessment and standards such as ISO, IEC, EN, ANSI and ASTM.
