PragerU is seeking a Contract Recruiter for an initial duration of six months, with the potential for a full-time transition. This remote position operates within the Pacific Time Zone hours, though applicants must reside in AZ, FL, IL, IN, IA, NC, NE, OK, TN, or TX. The organization focuses on advancing American values through edutainment, technology, and digital media content designed for diverse audiences.
This hands-on role is suited for professionals skilled in rapid talent acquisition who can maintain a strong candidate experience. The incoming recruiter will work alongside hiring managers and the Talent Acquisition department to source talent, accelerate hiring processes, and integrate artificial intelligence into recruitment operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle hiring across all business units from initial sourcing to final job offers
- Design and implement sourcing strategies utilizing direct outreach, networking, and artificial intelligence tools
- Identify and engage passive candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, employee referrals, and Boolean search methods
- Maintain robust talent pipelines for current and upcoming openings
- Provide a positive candidate journey through prompt communication and regular updates
- Analyze recruitment data and metrics to refine hiring results
- Coordinate closely with the Vice President of People Operations and Director of Talent Acquisition regarding staffing needs
- Take part in wider People team projects and initiatives as needed
Requirements
- Have three to five years of full-cycle recruiting background in high-volume settings
- Demonstrate active sourcing proficiency using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean queries, and networking
- Maintain availability to work during Pacific Time Zone hours
- Possess strong communication abilities to interact with stakeholders at all levels
- Exhibit high attention to detail and organizational capabilities
- Use Google Workspace and applicant tracking systems
- Align with PragerU principles and conservative values
