Job Description

Responsibilities

• Manage accounting, treasury, and financial reporting while coordinating with external tax and accounting partners
• Establish internal controls for fiat and digital assets through proper authorization, documentation, and reconciliation
• Handle company treasury duties including fiat holdings, vendor payments, stablecoin liquidity, and crypto assets
• Track and report budget-to-actual performance, cash runway, and financial position to leadership and investors
• Design and implement financial tools and systems for internal reporting, payments, and tracking expenses
• Collaborate with external partners to execute monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting cycles
• Handle token operations including token vesting, warrant tracking, treasury administration, and platform coordination
• Work with company leadership on scenario planning, forecasting, and budgeting for crypto and fiat assets
• Maintain risk management and compliance for custody, digital asset handling, and KYC or AML procedures
• Create investor and board reports outlining key strategic initiatives, financial metrics, and burn rate
• Assist legal and finance teams with due diligence, audits, and fundraising activities

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of finance or accounting experience
• Background working in early-stage startups or fast-growing companies
• Knowledge of US GAAP and accounting principles
• Experience reconciling or managing digital assets and crypto transactions such as stablecoins, tokens, and DeFi
• Familiarity with crypto-native tools
• Understanding of technology or AI sector financial operations like SaaS, cloud compute, and R&D capitalization

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline
• CPA or equivalent certification
