Coins.ph is hiring a country manager based in the United Arab Emirates to build and execute its UAE market-entry plan. The role focuses on outbound remittances from Dubai into priority corridors, early partnerships that lower friction, and measurable transaction and volume growth in the first 12 to 18 months. It also provides executive oversight of the compliance agenda led by the chief compliance officer and maintains senior engagement with VARA. The full-time, remote position requires UAE residence.
Responsibilities
- Build and execute the UAE market-entry plan around remittance corridors from Dubai
- Drive early partnerships, including stablecoin rails where appropriate
- Deliver transaction and volume growth across remittances and payments within 12 to 18 months
- Provide executive oversight of compliance and maintain senior-level VARA engagement
Requirements
- Must be based in the UAE
- Senior fintech, payments or remittance leader with a record of building new market presence
- Strong understanding of crypto, stablecoins and how stablecoin rails support remittance economics
- Prior experience engaging UAE regulators, with VARA ideal
Qualifications
- Prior UAE regulatory relationships are preferred, as they reduce set-up risk
