United We Dream, recognized as the nation's largest immigrant youth-led network, seeks a remote Creative Design & Website Associate to shape its visual identity and digital platforms. This position operates within the Narrative Team and focuses on producing visual assets, managing websites, and supporting advocacy campaigns that empower young people and undocumented communities.
This role suits a detail-oriented professional with a background in graphic design and web development who wants to apply technical skills toward social justice and movement building. The associate handles everything from rapid-response social graphics and printed merchandise to full web project lifecycles, ensuring high performance, accessibility, and brand consistency across channels.
Candidates will collaborate across departments and with movement partners to produce compelling digital content, monitor online trends, and execute technical SEO strategies. Because the organization functions in a dynamic environment, the ideal person embraces adaptability, creative problem-solving, and a commitment to immigrant rights.
Responsibilities
- Design daily static and short-term video content for social channels, campaigns, and rapid response needs
- Produce internal and external assets including social toolkits, reports, presentations, and flyers
- Create branded merchandise and materials for the member base to foster community identity
- Manage and maintain website properties for performance, accessibility, and best practices
- Build new campaign-specific landing pages and lead complete web project lifecycles
- Implement technical SEO and AEO best practices for optimal digital visibility
- Contribute to social media content creation, scheduling, caption writing, and performance tracking
- Organize and maintain digital and archival assets using cloud storage systems
Requirements
- Minimum of three years of professional experience in graphic design, website management, or front-end development
- Portfolio demonstrating visual design, branding, and web development capabilities
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and prototyping tools such as Figma
- Working knowledge of front-end development languages including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience with content management systems like WordPress or Webflow
- Familiarity with UX/UI principles for responsive and accessible design
- Commitment to immigrant justice and organizational values
Qualifications
- Experience with back-end development or custom WordPress implementations
- Motion graphics or video editing proficiency
- Familiarity with digital advocacy platforms such as EveryAction and Action Network
- Fluency in Spanish
- Demonstrated ability to record direct-to-camera social media videos
