The role covers model development and calibration, validation and monitoring, portfolio credit analytics and review of client deliverables. It is a full-time position for a quantitative graduate with five to eight years of credit experience at a bank or consultancy.
Responsibilities
- Develop and calibrate credit risk models, and carry out model validation, monitoring and testing
- Benchmark credit metrics against peers and derive portfolio credit analytics
- Review client deliverables for quality, accuracy and completeness
- Draft project reports and share knowledge with colleagues
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, quantitative, financial engineering or actuarial science
- Five to eight years of credit experience at a bank or consultancy
- Experience building IFRS 9 models and knowledge of PD, EAD, LGD, Basel II and IAS 39
- Programming skills in SAS, VBA, MATLAB, R or Python
Qualifications
- Retail credit risk experience
- Strong report writing and mentoring skills
