Bosch is seeking a CSR Lead - Environment & Sustainability for an on-site position based in Bangalore or Coimbatore. This senior strategic role sits within the corporate social responsibility department and focuses on designing, launching, and managing ecological conservation and environmental sustainability initiatives.
The successful candidate will oversee end-to-end program implementation, build strategic partnerships with external stakeholders, manage project budgets and fund utilization, and integrate technology such as GIS and remote sensing into environmental programs. This position suits an experienced professional with a background in development-sector program management who can collaborate across internal units like procurement, legal, and facilities, while also engaging with government bodies, research institutions, and NGOs.

Responsibilities
- Develop and operationalize the environmental sustainability strategy focusing on water resilience, groundwater recharge, and biodiversity
- Conduct research and landscape mapping to design data-driven programs and identify priority geographies through baseline studies
- Build and manage partnerships with NGOs, government bodies, research institutions, startups, and technology partners
- Lead end-to-end program implementation including partner onboarding, drafting MoUs, milestone tracking, and site visits
- Manage program finances such as fund utilization monitoring, financial tracking, reporting, and audits
- Identify and integrate relevant technologies like GIS, remote sensing, sensors, and digital dashboards into environmental projects
- Coordinate third-party environmental assessments, water accounting, verification, and audits
- Contribute environmental data and impact narratives for leadership, ESG, BRSR, and CSR reporting
Requirements
- Possess 8 to 12 years of relevant experience in development-sector program management, CSR, or environmental sustainability
- Demonstrate experience managing multi-partner or multi-location programs in areas such as water, natural resource management, biodiversity, or climate resilience
- Have technical knowledge of water resource management, watershed recharge, and water reuse concepts
- Understand CSR-based technical and environmental governance and compliance requirements in India
- Be proficient in MS Office and comfortable using digital dashboard, monitoring, and reporting platforms
- Be willing to travel periodically for field visits, stakeholder engagement, and program reviews
Qualifications
- Hold a postgraduate degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Water Resource Management, Natural Resource Management, Rural Management, Sustainability, Social Work, or another relevant field
