Job Description
DataGrail, which describes itself as an agentic data privacy platform, is hiring a Customer Success Manager to help customers run and grow their privacy programs. The platform automates privacy work and risk controls for brands across many industries. The role is remote, and the posting gives an OTE range of $120,000 to $140,000 USD that combines salary and variable pay.
This role is accountable for each client's path from first setup to lasting success and renewal. Responsibilities cover running onboarding and rollout work, keeping schedules, contacts and checkpoints aligned, and helping companies apply privacy practices day to day. The role builds relationships with privacy, security, legal and executive contacts, tracks customer health to spot churn risk early, and drives resolution plans. The position additionally collaborates with architects, product staff, support and sales, relaying client input to the product group.
The first 90 days focus on learning the platform and privacy workflows, shadowing engagements, and then leading onboarding, training and check-ins. By 180 days the manager is expected to run a portfolio independently, and by 365 days to act as a trusted advisor who mentors newer team members.
Applicants should have background in customer success, onboarding, rollout management or client-facing software roles, and know privacy rules such as GDPR and CCPA reasonably well. The listing wants planning and troubleshooting ability, capacity to balance several client demands, and lucid communication with senior client staff. Prior exposure to privacy software like DataGrail, or to privacy, security, legal or compliance groups, would be an advantage. Benefits include equity, medical, dental and vision coverage, a retirement plan, parental leave, wellness perks, flexible time off, holidays and a home-office allowance.
