Job Description
Magic is hiring a Customer Success Manager for its in-house Talent team. This is a permanent, full-time role for a Magic employee who owns client relationships on the company's behalf, rather than a virtual assistant placed with a client. The location is listed as the Philippines, and the role is fully remote.
The CSM's main goals are retaining clients and growing their accounts. Responsibilities include managing a book of accounts ranked by size, health and growth prospects; keeping gross revenue retention at 90 percent or higher and net revenue retention at 110 percent or higher; and handling renewals 60 to 90 days before they expire. The role also covers onboarding new clients, holding kickoff calls one or two days after signing, and building success plans with clear milestones.
The job includes running data-driven quarterly business reviews, building relationships with several people in each client organization, owning escalations from intake to resolution, and analyzing usage data to spot churn and expansion. The team works US hours, from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM Eastern Time, Monday to Friday. Applicants need three to five years in B2B client success or account roles, daily HubSpot use and strong written and spoken English.
The company says it promotes from within, with a path from CSM to Senior CSM, then Team Lead or CS Manager, and eventually CS Director.
