Job Description
NetBrain, founded in 2004, offers a no-code network automation platform that lets IT operations teams scale hybrid and multi-cloud environments. The company says more than 2,500 large enterprises and managed service providers use it for troubleshooting, outage prevention and controlled change management.
This post-sale role looks after the customer relationships for a group of enterprise accounts, covering adoption, renewals and growth in usage. The person is the first contact for stakeholders, including C-suite leaders. The job is commercial rather than hands-on networking, though the person must understand the product well enough to explain and demonstrate it.
Typical tasks include recurring check-ins and business reviews, tracking customer success goals and adoption signals, building materials that connect usage to outcomes, and driving renewals through health checks, alignment and closing. The role also flags at-risk accounts with recovery plans, finds upsell potential, and feeds customer input back to Product.
The ideal candidate has five to six years of total experience, at least two years in a customer-facing position, and some technical fluency. Familiarity with ARR, GRR and NRR is expected. Networking knowledge is useful but optional, and candidates from non-networking commercial backgrounds may apply.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain connections with IT operations staff, network engineers and senior executives
- Hold regular check-ins and quarterly or annual business reviews that show value and adoption progress
- Act as the escalation point for customers, bringing in Support or R&D for deep technical issues
- Set success measures for each account and watch for low usage
- Build business-review presentations that link product use to customer goals
- Run each renewal from health check through closing, with Sales handling commercial terms
- Raise at-risk accounts early along with a recovery plan
- Spot expansion options such as more modules, seats or use cases, and work with Account Executives on proposals
- Record activity and renewal status in Salesforce or Gainsight, and nominate happy customers for case studies
Requirements
- Five to six years overall, including two or more years in customer-facing work such as success, support, NOC or delivery
- Experience owning a book of business in adoption, renewals or onboarding
- Enough technical understanding to explain features and run a demo
- Confident presence with technical staff and C-suite executives
- Results-focused problem solver able to juggle many accounts
- Working knowledge of ARR, GRR, NRR and adoption metrics
Qualifications
- Customer success work in technical products such as infrastructure, network security or other complex software
- Grasp of routing, switching, BGP, OSPF and VLANs (helpful but not required)
- Experience with network vendors or with large global enterprise customers
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
- Networking certifications such as CCNA, CCNP or JNCIA
- Familiarity with Salesforce, Gainsight or HubSpot
- Exposure to SaaS, automation or observability products
