Lingraphica builds speech-generating devices and AAC products for individuals living with aphasia or other speech and language difficulties. Its offering combines hardware, software and services aimed at helping people communicate and take part in daily life.
This remote position concentrates on training after a device is sold. The specialist helps new users and their care partners become comfortable with the hardware and shows how to use it in real routines. Sessions may be one-off or ongoing, delivered individually, in small groups or inside the company's device users community.
The specialist logs each interaction and result in the CRM, and reports recurring training gaps, user feedback and adoption hurdles to Product, Sales, Marketing and Support. Other assignments may be given as needed.
Applicants should have clinical or instructional experience in AAC or communication-partner training, and be comfortable with Microsoft Office and video conferencing software. Responsibilities
- Provide individual and small-group instruction for device users and their care partners
- Run group classes in the Lingraphica Device Users Community
- Tailor the program to each customer, from one session to continuing check-ins
- Cover both how the device works and how it fits into daily life
- Log every customer contact and outcome in the CRM
- Pass recurring training needs and user feedback to Product, Sales, Marketing and Support
- Take on additional projects as assigned
Requirements
- Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or SLPA credentials and background
- Minimum of two years in AAC instruction, clinical teaching or related coaching
- Practical know-how in AAC and training communication partners
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Comfort with Zoom or similar platforms, or teletherapy experience
- Clear, caring and practical device instruction for individuals and groups
- Flexibility in adapting lessons to different learning styles and knowledge levels
- Ability to simplify complicated product features into engaging guidance
- Organized, proactive and focused on steady improvement
Qualifications
- ATP certification and/or SCA training
- Experience with CRM systems such as HubSpot
