Springboard operates as an online education provider focused on closing global skill gaps by delivering tech-enabled training programs in areas such as machine learning, coding, UI/UX design, and data science. In this role, the Subject Matter Expert will collaborate with the learning department to audit, refresh, and expand curriculum materials for the Data Analytics Bootcamp. The goal is to ensure the program remains aligned with modern expectations for entry-level analysts. Key duties involve evaluating current modules covering statistics, Excel, SQL, Python, financial analysis, reporting, and visualization, while integrating guidance on responsible AI usage into workflows. Candidates will also design practical exercises, quizzes, case studies, and assessments utilizing realistic business data.
This position is well-suited for seasoned data analytics professionals who possess a background in curriculum design or educational content creation. Responsibilities
- Audit existing learning materials across statistics, Excel, SQL, Python, financial analysis, reporting, and visualization for accuracy and relevance
- Recommend curriculum updates based on modern business intelligence tools, contemporary analyst duties, and AI-driven practices
- Author original lessons, case studies, projects, quizzes, and assessments featuring realistic business scenarios and datasets
- Build instructional resources that teach generative AI usage as a workflow accelerator while maintaining human judgment
- Create instructional media such as videos, PDFs, and infographics to explain visualization methods and formula troubleshooting
- Design exercises that instruct learners on validating AI outputs, protecting sensitive information, and recognizing limitations
- Review technical elements including spreadsheet activities, SQL queries, Python scripts, and visualizations for pedagogical effectiveness
- Construct reporting tasks that guide learners in interpreting key performance indicators for non-technical audiences
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience working in data analytics or business analytics
- Prior experience teaching data analytics and authoring explainer content or educational curricula
- Demonstrated hands-on experience leveraging AI to produce educational materials such as videos, text, or infographics
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, Microsoft Excel, and data visualization software like Tableau
- Familiarity with statistics, financial analysis, reporting, visualization, and structured analytical problem-solving
- Practical experience with generative AI tools in analytics workflows, including output evaluation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for explaining technical ideas to beginners
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field
- Prior responsibility for hiring early-career data analytics talent
