Plain Concepts seeks a Data Scientist to join its international artificial intelligence and machine learning division. In this remote position, the professional will participate in building, training, and deploying customized software solutions for clients across the globe. The role involves working within multidisciplinary teams utilizing agile methodologies, taking full ownership of projects, and handling end-to-end artificial intelligence workflows.
This opportunity suits technical professionals who want to tackle complex challenges using modern cloud platforms and machine learning frameworks. Responsibilities
- Design and build machine learning and artificial intelligence solutions for various projects
- Handle automated deployment and infrastructure monitoring through MLOps
- Perform data analysis tasks including data cleaning and variable transformation
- Train and develop models by handling optimization, parallelization, tuning, and testing
- Deploy applications into production environments
Requirements
- More than 5 years of professional background in artificial intelligence, computer science, or machine learning
- Demonstrated history of building end-to-end software products incorporating machine learning components
- Working familiarity with cloud-based solutions, specifically Azure
- Proficiency in Python programming and a reasonable understanding of SQL
- Practical background in testing methodologies such as unit and integration testing
- Familiarity with natural language processing and computer vision
- Experience covering the full machine learning lifecycle from development to production
- Familiarity with AI coding tools like GitHub Copilot in daily workflows
- Mandatory fluency in the Spanish language
Qualifications
- Fluent English language skills for an international environment
- Background in big data tools and cloud platforms
- Experience developing RESTful APIs and utilizing DevOps practices including Docker and CI/CD
- Knowledge of recommendation systems, unsupervised learning, and ranking models
- Familiarity with cognitive services and Agentic AI
- Understanding of TensorFlow Lite, TensorFlow Serving, gRPC, and unit testing
- Strong object-oriented programming abilities
