This full-time on-site data validation role at SGS in Manila processes and checks lab results for EHS matrix samples in a chemical laboratory. The validator performs calculations, quality control checks and LIMS entries, and reports results to strict quality standards. The role also escalates operational issues promptly and supports technical queries from colleagues.
Responsibilities
- Process lab data, perform calculations and integrations, and run quality control checks.
- Validate and report lab results and keep LIMS entries accurate.
- Make sure testing and quality control follow ISO 17025 and SGS lab standards.
- Escalate turnaround failures and quality inconsistencies to the team leads immediately.
Requirements
- A minimum of one year of lab experience, including at least six months of SEM, HPLC, GC or GC-MS operating experience with formal training.
- A bachelor of science degree, with chemistry preferred.
- English at B2 or C1 level and strong MS Excel skills.
Qualifications
- Prior experience with LIMS and Chemstation or MassHunter software is a plus.
- Experience with data review of lab results.
- Strong attention to data quality and operational excellence.
