Concentrix, a global technology and services provider specializing in digital transformation, is seeking a remote Databricks Data Engineer (IC) to join its analytics technology division. In this full-time role, the professional will build and optimize scalable data pipelines, support artificial intelligence initiatives, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to drive data-led decision making across the enterprise.
This position is ideal for data professionals who possess a strong background in the Databricks Lakehouse platform and modern cloud architectures. Candidates will work within a technical environment encompassing Microsoft Azure, PySpark, Spark SQL, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, and Git. Familiarity with backend development using .NET and C# is also considered highly advantageous for integrating enterprise applications with modern data platforms.
Successful contributors in this role will focus on delivering robust data products, enhancing pipeline efficiency, promoting engineering standards, and helping shape the long-term analytics strategy for the organization.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain efficient and scalable data pipelines utilizing cloud-native technologies and Databricks
- Develop and refine ETL and ELT processes for unstructured, semi-structured, and structured datasets
- Create dependable data models, validation frameworks, and monitoring tools to maintain high platform reliability
- Furnish high-quality data products to support enterprise reporting, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and advanced analytics
- Partner with technical colleagues and business stakeholders to turn objectives into operational technical solutions
- Investigate data platform issues, eliminate performance bottlenecks, and deploy effective fixes
- Contribute to continuous integration and delivery processes, automation efforts, and infrastructure-as-code methods
- Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and operational standards
- Engage in architectural discussions to foster continuous improvement throughout the data ecosystem
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Hands-on experience with modern data engineering methodologies and Databricks
- Strong background in building data pipelines using Spark, Python, and PySpark
- Experience working with cloud platforms, with a preference for Microsoft Azure
- Robust SQL capabilities alongside a solid grasp of data warehousing principles
- Familiarity with collaboration and source control tools such as Git
- Knowledge of data quality management, performance optimization, and data modeling
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting abilities
- Effective communication skills combined with the capacity to operate within global teams
- Capability to work independently under minimal supervision while converting business needs into technical designs
Qualifications
- Experience utilizing Azure Databricks within the Microsoft data ecosystem
