Responsibilities
- Manage and administer advanced PostgreSQL databases in production settings
- Optimize performance and perform advanced troubleshooting
- Handle large-scale database volumes ranging from hundreds of gigabytes to several terabytes
- Design and operate high availability and data replication architectures
- Maintain PostgreSQL workloads running inside Kubernetes
- Utilize cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud
- Monitor systems using Grafana and Prometheus
- Automate operational tasks and maintain data platform infrastructure
- Diagnose and resolve complex issues in 24x7 critical environments
Requirements
- Over 5 years of experience administering PostgreSQL in production
- Solid background working in cloud environments
- Practical knowledge of Kubernetes applied to data platforms
- Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting and performance optimization
- Experience with high availability architectures and data replication
- Availability to participate in 24x7 on-call service rotations
