World Vision Zimbabwe is seeking qualified software development firms to create a gamified e-sports literacy and numeracy learning platform tailored for children between the ages of 6 and 11 years. This initiative aims to enhance educational outcomes in primary schools across Zimbabwe by combining interactive digital instruction, gamification, performance monitoring, and competitive e-sports events.
The chosen vendor will build a secure, scalable, and child-friendly digital environment that includes features for learners, teachers, administrators, and program managers. The project encompasses full software engineering, content and assessment creation, user acceptance testing, teacher and administrator training, school accreditation, and ongoing post-implementation technical support.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and release the gamified learning platform
- Create age-appropriate educational content and assessment modules
- Integrate competitive e-sports features for inter-house, inter-school, and national levels
- Provide management and tracking dashboards for students, educators, and administrators
- Establish system reporting, analytics, and monitoring tools
- Execute user acceptance testing and manage the platform rollout
- Train educators and administrative staff on platform usage
- Deliver ongoing technical support and maintenance after implementation
- Manage school onboarding and accreditation processes
Requirements
