Auditdata is hiring a remote DevOps Engineer to join its software engineering department, which builds advanced enterprise platforms for audiology distribution networks. This position is suited for professionals who enjoy working in a collaborative, mentorship-focused environment within a globally distributed team spanning countries like Denmark, the United Kingdom, Ukraine, Poland, Canada, Australia, and the United States.
The organization follows a remote-first and asynchronous operational model backed by a flat organizational structure. Team members build and maintain infrastructure using a modern technology stack that includes .Net Core, Microsoft Azure cloud services, Azure DevOps, AKS, Azure SQL, Data Factory, Service Bus, and various artificial intelligence tools from Anthropic and OpenAI.
The person in this role will handle continuous integration and deployment pipelines, automate release workflows, and monitor development settings inside the Microsoft Azure cloud ecosystem. Additionally, the engineer will advise internal teams and external clients on technical installation, scaling, sizing, and pipeline operations. Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines
- Oversee release procedures and automation efforts
- Support and monitor development environments and system configurations within the Microsoft Azure cloud
- Advise internal and external clients regarding technical installation, sizing, scaling, and pipeline management
Requirements
- Two to three years of commercial experience configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Microsoft-based production environments
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud, including writing ARM templates or Terraform and automating resource provisioning with Azure PowerShell
- Working knowledge of Azure services such as App Service, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure SQL, and Azure Storage Account
- Familiarity with cloud networking components including load balancers, DNS, virtual networks, and firewalls
- Ability to set up performance monitoring and Operational Management Suite metrics
- Foundational understanding of Azure Active Directory authentication, user and group management, and roles
- Experience monitoring enterprise applications hosted in the Azure cloud
- Effective communication abilities for collaborating with customer care teams across various geographic regions
- Strong problem-solving skills with creative thinking capabilities
- Commitment to continuously updating personal and team knowledge with modern tools
- Proficiency in spoken and written English
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Familiarity with setting up continuous integration and continuous delivery for .NET applications by building and managing pipelines
- Practical experience using AI coding assistants like GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or OpenAI Codex for scripting, generating infrastructure as code, drafting pipelines, and troubleshooting
- Basic comprehension of how large language models integrate into engineering workflows, including the Model Context Protocol
- Awareness of limitations and risks associated with artificial intelligence-generated code and configurations, along with proper review judgment
