Coins.ph is hiring a DevOps engineer in Manila to build and maintain scalable AWS infrastructure for its payments and fintech platform. The role covers Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and CloudFormation, security controls in the CI/CD pipeline aligned with BSP, ISO 27001 and SOC 2 requirements, managing EKS clusters and Helm charts, and security monitoring. It is a full-time, hybrid position requiring 5+ years of experience maintaining high-availability cloud services.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform and CloudFormation
- Implement security controls in CI/CD pipelines and automate policy enforcement
- Manage production Kubernetes (EKS) clusters and Helm charts for availability and scaling
- Deploy and manage WAF, SIEM, XDR and CloudTrail, and monitor infrastructure threats
Requirements
- 5+ years maintaining high-availability services and distributed cloud infrastructure
- Expert knowledge of Kubernetes (EKS) and Helm
- Deep AWS proficiency with EC2, RDS, S3 and IAM, plus strong production Terraform experience
- Proficiency in Python or Java, and hands-on work with RDS, Redis and Kafka
Qualifications
- Experience with LLM-based automation through tools such as OpenAI or Bedrock is a bonus
- Direct experience with central bank technical requirements, such as BSP, is a bonus
